About Us:
Cene is a growing marketing and PR agency dedicated to helping brands elevate their presence through strategic marketing, social media, web design, and photo and video content. We work with a diverse range of clients and are looking for a passionate, creative, and motivated individual to join our team in a supporting role.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a college intern (with the potential for advancement) to assist with marketing, PR, social media management, and brand strategy. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic agency environment while contributing to real client projects.
What Youāll Do:
Marketing & PR Support:
- Assist with developing and executing marketing and PR strategies for Cene.
- Create trending and relevant content to promote Ceneās brand and services.
- Help draft press releases, blog posts, and marketing materials.
- Contribute to Marketing Campaign and Team brainstorming meetings.
Social Media Management:
- Assist in managing social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Linked In), including ideation, writing, scheduling, and posting content.
- Design static social media content including info graphics, cover images, thumbnails, etc.
- Manage projects through ClickUp
- Contribute to Client Strategy meetings
- Collect, analyze, and review campaign effectiveness with clients
- Schedule social calendar using our software Metricool
Brand Management & Client Support:
- Support brand strategy by ensuring consistency in messaging and visuals across platforms.
- Help with content creation, including graphics, captions, and storytelling elements.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns.
- Assist with client communication and account management tasks.
- Communicate with Clients via Google Chat
Ideal Candidate:
- College student or recent graduate studying marketing, communications, PR, or a related field.
- Passionate about social media, branding, and digital marketing.
- Creative thinker with strong writing and communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Welcomeās feedback and constructive criticism with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite, social media scheduling tools, or content management platforms is a plus.

Must-Haves:
- Current portfolio of relevant work (graphics, campaign analytics, email marketing campaigns, copy, video content, video editing, etc).
- Personal laptop for work execution.
- Relevant marketing experience (managing social media platforms or communities for brands, etc.)
- Proficient in Google Drive and Dropbox
- Proficient in Adobe Suite & Canva
- Experience in writing and overseeing content creation
- General understanding of algorithms and tailoring content for success
- High level of professionalism
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in Click Up or other project management platforms
- Working knowledge of photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, & Premiere Pro

Workplace:
- This role is expected to be in office Wednesday and Thursday, with the option of remote work on Fridays if hours have not been reached.
- Cene reserves the right to schedule team meetings and client meetings with expected attendance on Friday mornings when necessary. (Remaining work hours permitting)
