Welcome to Cene. These Terms of Service explain how we work, what we’re responsible for, and what you agree to when using our services or visiting makeacene.com, makeacene.co, or any related subdomains and pages built through GoHighLevel, Perspective or Webflow.

By using our website or hiring us for services, you agree to these terms.

1. What We Do

Cene LLC is a digital marketing agency based in Florence, Alabama. We provide website design, social media management, advertising, branding, and other creative services.

2. Payments and Billing

All payments are processed through GoHighLevel. Payment terms depend on the type of project:

• Monthly Services: Payments are billed upfront for the upcoming month.
• One-Time Projects: Payments are due before work begins.
• Website Memberships: Payments are covered by annual contracts.

At this time, Cene does not offer refunds or cancellations once payment has been made. Projects and services begin as soon as payment is received.

If you think you may need flexibility or cancellation options, talk to us before starting your project and we can discuss what’s possible.

3. Ownership and Licensing

All content (photo, video, design, or written work) created by Cene remains owned by Cene unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Clients receive a license to use the content for their business marketing and promotional purposes.

If you’d like to purchase full ownership or copyright to any content, reach out to us directly to discuss terms and pricing.

Cene also reserves the right to use any work we create for our portfolio, social media, advertising, or promotional purposes, even if the work was produced specifically for your brand.

4. Revisions and Deliverables

We don’t limit revisions because we want to get things right. That said, you can’t combine multiple versions of drafts into separate end products. Each project is intended to result in one final approved version.

Typical timelines:

• Monthly content: Filmed during the 2nd week, edited the 3rd week, approved the 4th week, and published the 1st week of the next month.
• Websites: Most projects are completed within 4 to 8 weeks, depending on scope and communication.

Each one-time project has its own unique schedule discussed directly with the client.

5. Client Access

Some clients may receive limited access to platforms:

• Metricool: Social media clients can log in to review and approve scheduled posts.
• Website CMS: Web clients who need to add blog posts, products, or portfolio items will be given a login for that specific purpose.

All other access and management are handled by Cene.

6. Third-Party Tools and Platforms

Cene uses platforms like GoHighLevel, Perspective, Webflow, Squarespace, Google, Meta, and Metricool to deliver and manage services. While we use reliable providers, Cene is not responsible for downtime, errors, data loss, or issues caused by these third-party systems.

7. Liability

We do our best to deliver high-quality, reliable work. However, Cene is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may occur from using our services or websites. You agree that your use of our services and websites is at your own discretion and risk.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any disputes will be handled in Lauderdale County, Alabama.

9. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by the effective date at the top of this page.
