Welcome to Cene. These Terms of Service explain how we work, what we are responsible for, and what you agree to when using our services or visiting makeacene.com, makeacene.co, or any related subdomains and pages built through GoHighLevel, Perspective, Webflow, or other platforms we use.

By using our website or hiring us for services, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use our website, submit forms, or engage with our services. By providing your information or working with Cene, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

2. What We Do

Cene LLC is a digital marketing agency based in Florence, Alabama. We provide website design, social media management, advertising, branding, photo and video production, and other creative and marketing services.

3. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number through our website, forms, or funnels, you agree to receive SMS messages from Cene.

These messages may include:

  • Responses to inquiries
  • Scheduling or appointment reminders
  • Project updates or service related notifications
  • Account or billing related messages

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at info@makeacene.com.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages and are not responsible for message content.

SMS consent is not required to purchase services.

4. Payments and Billing

All payments are processed through GoHighLevel. Payment terms depend on the type of project:

  • Monthly Services: Payments are billed upfront for the upcoming month
  • One Time Projects: Payments are due in full before work begins
  • Website Memberships: Payments are covered by annual contracts

All payments are non refundable. Services begin as soon as payment is received.

Any billing flexibility must be discussed and approved before work begins.

5. Ownership and Licensing

All content created by Cene, including photo, video, design, or written work, remains the property of Cene unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Clients receive a license to use the content for their business marketing and promotional purposes.

If you would like to purchase full ownership or copyright of any content, you may contact us directly to discuss availability and pricing.

Cene reserves the right to use all work we create for portfolio use, marketing, social media, advertising, or promotional purposes, even if the content was produced specifically for your brand.

6. Revisions and Deliverables

We do not limit revisions because we want to get the work right. Revisions may not be combined to create multiple end products. Each project is intended to result in one final approved deliverable.

Typical timelines include:

  • Monthly content is filmed during the second week, edited during the third week, approved during the fourth week, and published during the first week of the following month
  • Website projects typically take four to eight weeks depending on scope and communication

Specific timelines for one time projects are discussed directly with each client.

7. Client Access

Some clients may receive limited platform access:

  • Metricool access for reviewing and approving social media posts
  • Website CMS access for managing blogs, products, or portfolio items

All other access and management remain handled by Cene.

8. Third Party Tools and Platforms

Cene uses platforms such as GoHighLevel, Perspective, Webflow, Squarespace, Google, Meta, and Metricool to deliver services. Cene is not responsible for downtime, data loss, errors, or service interruptions caused by third party platforms.

9. Liability

Cene is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or website.

Your use of our services is at your own discretion and risk.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any disputes will be handled in Lauderdale County, Alabama.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the effective date at the top of this page.
